Hi! My name is Karla Morman. I am so excited to embark on this journey as a certified ISR instructor. Water safety/drowning prevention is so incredibly important to me. Equipping your children with ISR skills is so valuable and I am thrilled to be part of that journey with your children! My husband, Eric, and I live in Waterville with our 5 amazing children (ages 19, 17, 13, 9 and 7 years old). Our younger children took ISR lessons with Miss Kym as well so I’ve been a swim momma for several years too! My educational background consists of a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science as well as a Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences, specializing in Physician Assistant studies. I have been practicing as a PA for almost 22 years now, specializing primarily in pediatrics. Starting my career in Pediatric Trauma/Surgery, I then transitioned to general pediatrics in both the inpatient and outpatient worlds. I continue to currently practice as a PA in a pediatric office in Maumee. Between being a mom myself as well as a pediatric PA, I have a vast understanding of children, their development, how best to meet them and a strong commitment to their safety and well-being.
